Attitude of Gratitude

Don't just complaining about what you don't have. Its very important when you want a happiness in your day to day life. Some people always think and say negative, rather than that you should have Attitude of Gratitude. Make a list of things you have and Thank God and people near you for the things they have given whether that is millions dollar of property or 1 second of enjoyment. Thank God for Everything you have given to us.

XForms: Technical Session

Before few days I had to take session on any technical topic in my company. I choose the topic XForms, topic I have heard during my post graduation degree course. I was really impressed with it and this time I have taken the session on it. Session was good and people liked it. So what are you thinking that what is XForm? How to implement? not to worry, Its dam easy and very simple in understanding. XForms are the next generation of HTML. Its same like HTML scripting but syntax is different. XForms decouples logic and data from presentation. Gujarati Unicode Character Display

To get and display Unicode characters in browsers is dam easy as displaying any simple string. This is my opinion after solving the Gujarati Unicode character display issue. As you have already read my post Unicode support Java . and you know, how I solved the issue. Many of us working on language other than English and using Unicode as Other language support. This post may help u if you are interacting with MySql as database. I will post How to create table and database, which supports and stores Unicode characters. I have created the sample PHP Application which displays Gujaratai Unicode. First, when I fetched the records using simple query was displaying junk data as ??????????, question marks instead original data. Then I started to resolve the issue. What I found is When we hit the query before that we need to hit other query for setting for Collation and Character set of the system. SET NAMES 'utf8' and, Issue will be resolved! So just one query...hm

Unicode support Java

Few days back, I was working on one project, Project was in MySql, Java. I had to do Java, MySql Connectivity. My database was in Gujarati. (Unicode, UTF-8) To do MySql database connection using Java is very easy. string url = "jdbc:mysql://ServerIPAddress:3306/DatabaseName Where, 1. jdbc : Driver specification 2. mysql : Defining MySql database is used. 3. ServerIPAddress : This is the IP Address of the database server 4. 3306 : Port 5. DatabaseName : Name of Database So I thought this is perfect for connectivity.. Oops... but garbage value displayed when I fetched data. So what to do? I had spent 1 week to find out what is the problem? Where is the problem? Finally, I found the solution, Need to pass parameter for Unicode support. Then, I used below string as connection: string url = "jdbc:mysql://ServerIPAddress:3306/DatabaseName?useUnicode=true&characterEncoding=UTF8"; and its done. useUnicode=true&characterEncoding=UTF8 : Property
