Install Chromium Web Browser Ubuntu 9.10 (Karmic Koala)

Open Terminal, Type below command,
sudo apt-key adv --recv-keys --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com 4E5E17B5

Go To System ->Administrator -> Software Sources
Select Other Software Tab
Click Add Button

Type below command,
deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/chromium-daily/ppa/ubuntu karmic main
Click Add Source

Now Click Reload Button

In Terminal Type below command,
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install chromium-browser

You will find Chromium Web Browser installed in Application -> Internet -> Chromium Web Browser.

Yesterday, when I was going home from office, I was at Rickshaw Stand waiting for Rickshaw and there were lorry peoples,suddenly I noticed one incident, where a couple with their little boy,might be 6th or 7th year old came to Rickshaw Stand. There was water lorry also, who was selling water pouch. The little boy went to the water lorry, the lorry man was busy in arranging other bags of water pouch, little boy took the water pouch and came to his parents. His Parents were seeing the pouch in the boy's hand and ask from where have you taken, he just pointed his hand to lorry. In spite of going back to lorry man and giving back the pouch or making payment, he just stood there and put the pouch into his bag. He had not even ask his son, why did he take the pouch? or taught him that, he should not do that. This is very bad, Parents are hiding their children's mistakes. Unicode support Java

Few days back, I was working on one project, Project was in MySql, Java. I had to do Java, MySql Connectivity. My database was in Gujarati. (Unicode, UTF-8) To do MySql database connection using Java is very easy. string url = "jdbc:mysql://ServerIPAddress:3306/DatabaseName Where, 1. jdbc : Driver specification 2. mysql : Defining MySql database is used. 3. ServerIPAddress : This is the IP Address of the database server 4. 3306 : Port 5. DatabaseName : Name of Database So I thought this is perfect for connectivity.. Oops... but garbage value displayed when I fetched data. So what to do? I had spent 1 week to find out what is the problem? Where is the problem? Finally, I found the solution, Need to pass parameter for Unicode support. Then, I used below string as connection: string url = "jdbc:mysql://ServerIPAddress:3306/DatabaseName?useUnicode=true&characterEncoding=UTF8"; and its done. useUnicode=true&characterEncoding=UTF8 : Property
